Crossbite Back Teeth
Upper back teeth are trapped inside the lower back teeth, causing crowding and asymmetry in the bite.

Treatment: Expansion of the upper arch to normal width, and rounding out the fullness of the smile. After the bite is corrected the upper and lower teeth are aligned in their optimal arrangement.
Spacing
There is excess space between the upper or lower teeth, causing food to be trapped.

Treatment: The teeth are brought together to close the spaces and aligned in their optimal arrangement.
Protrusion, aka Overbite
The upper front teeth are out too far ahead of the lower teeth, placing them at risk for fracture.

Treatment: The bite on the back teeth is corrected and the upper and lower teeth are aligned in their optimal arrangement.
Open Bite
With the back teeth biting down, there is still a space between the upper and lower front teeth.

Treatment: Correction of tonguethrust or thumb sucking habit causing the open bite. The teeth are aligned in their optimal arrangement.
Midlines Off Center
The midlines of the upper and lower teeth do not line up with eachother, or with the midline of the face. May also include asymmetric crowding.

Treatment: Verification and correction of the bite on the back teeth, the upper and lower teeth are aligned in their optimal arrangement.
Deep Bite
When biting down the lower teeth largely disappear behind the upper teeth. Possible biting trauma to gum tissues of upper front teeth.

Treatment: Correction of the deep bite by improving vertical support of the back teeth, alignment of the upper and lower teeth in their optimal arrangement.
Crowding
There is lack of space for the teeth causing misalignment, uneven wear and cleaning difficulty.

Treatment: Development of available space, alignment of the upper and lower teeth in their optimal arrangement.
Crossbite Front Tooth
An upper tooth bites behind the lower teeth, resulting in uneven wear of the teeth and pressure on the gum tissues.

Treatment: Development of available space and correction of the bite, alignment of the upper and lower teeth in their optimal arrangement.
Underbite
The lower teeth bite in front of the upper teeth, preventing adequate forward growth of the upper jaw and causing uneven wear.

Treatment: Correction of the bite on the back teeth and correction of the cross-bite. Alignment of the upper and lower teeth in their optimal arrangement.
