Dr. Rob Van den Berg, DDS, MS

Dr. Rob Van den Berg is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics as recogized by the American Association of Orthodontists. His career in dentistry began in 1986 when he received his Dental Degree from the Academic Center for Dentistry in Amsterdam. Dr. Van den Berg obtained his Orthodontic Degree and Masters in Oral Biology from the University of California, San Francisco in 1996.

Dr. Van den Berg is actively involved with cutting-edge advances in orthodontic technology. He co-authored 4 issued patents on Invisalign. Dr. Van den Berg has trained several thousand other orthodontists and dentists in both basic and advanced Invisalign concepts. He offers Invisalign to a broad range of patients in his office, including teenagers as well as patients requiring complex care. Dr. Van den Berg has taught orthodontic courses to dental students and orthodontic residents at the University of California San Francisco, the University of the Pacific, Harvard, Boston University and Columbia University in New York.

Dr. Van den Berg lives in San Ramon with his family, and their dogs Blondie and Tyler. Outside the office Dr. Van den Berg keeps himself energized by swimming, mountain biking and kite surfing. Dr Van den Berg loves being an Orthodontist and feels everyone can benefit from a healthier and brighter smile. Dr. Van den Berg’s goal is to give you a beautiful smile and to make your orthodontic experience as good as it can be!

Michele, RDA / Clinical Coordinator

Michele is our Core Registered Dental Assistant and Clinical Coordinator, with over 16 years experience in the Dental Field. Her expertise in the specialty of Orthodontics spans over 11 years. Michele lives in Tracy with her husband Dan and pets Emma & Ditto. Michele feels a great sense of pride in seeing the high level of confidence her patients experience due to the excellent results they obtain through orthodontic treatment. She also enjoys the lasting relationships she has built with her patients. She possesses a certain energy that the patients recognize and respond to very well. She refers to her co workers as family members and to the patients as her friends "My patients are my strength within my job!"

Danielle, Scheduling Coordinator

Our Scheduling Coordinator Danielle has enjoyed several years of experience in the field of Orthodontics. We welcomed Danielle with open arms into our team in 2006 and she has turned out to be a great team member. We are happy and proud to have her be a part of our Ortho team. Danielle is pleased to have found such a great office to call home. "It's a wonderful opportunity to work with our patients form start to finish, from the initial meet and greet, to seeing them through to completion with a smile to last a lifetime! One part of my job I really like is creating fun contests in the office. Our office has a great, warm, inviting atmosphere with a close knit team that really enjoys working together, it's the best!"
